Workshops

 

 

 

Aaron was Project Coordinator for the £85,000 Cheshire Youth Amp, which provided music opportunities for young people outside class times across the boroughs of Cheshire during 2002.

 

Liddard has delivered music and music technology workshops in such diverse arenas as school playing fields, theatres and a nightclub in Kazahkzstan.

 

 

 

 

Improvisation Workshop

 

 

 

Through a series of musical games, Aaron explores how an ensemble can improvise in such a way as to respect the music, the players and the audience.

 

Normal duration: 3 hours with a short break

Number of participants: 4-12

All instruments including voice.

 

Topics include: listening, pitch, rhythm, harmony, interaction, aural independence, improvisation

 

 

Horn Section Workshop

 

 

 

Drawing on his experience playing in and arranging for horn sections, Aaron explores the techniques and abilities that are specifically required in this specialised field. An interactive workshop.

Instruments: sax trumpet trombone

 

Topics include sight reading, playing by ear, phrasing, articulation, voicing, transposition, soloing, intonation
